A welcome from Cherry

"Thank you for considering Cherries Healthcare Services. With twenty years spent working across different care settings, including NHS wards and hospitals, I understand how much it matters to feel truly looked after — and that's exactly what we set out to offer, right from that very first visit."

About us

Led by someone who has done the job herself.

Cherry has twenty years of hands-on experience working across different care settings, including NHS wards and hospitals, as well as personal and palliative care — supporting people with a wide range of needs, ages, and health conditions, including learning disabilities and complex behaviour. A qualified healthcare professional, she brings that experience into how Cherries Healthcare Services is run, not just what it says on paper.

"We help you or your loved one live life to the fullest — with a holistic, person-centred approach and complete confidentiality."

Our organisation

Cherries Healthcare Services Limited is a domiciliary care provider based in Northampton, currently completing its registration with the Care Quality Commission. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing effective systems to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our organisation and supply chains.

Our supply chains

As a home care provider, our supply chain is limited and primarily consists of recruitment services, training providers, uniform and equipment suppliers, and DBS/background-checking services. We work to ensure our suppliers share our commitment to protecting human rights.

Our policies

We operate a Safeguarding Policy and a Recruitment Policy that require verification of the right to work in the UK, identity checks, and enhanced DBS checks for every member of staff before they begin working with us. Any concerns about forced labour, trafficking, or exploitation — whether relating to staff or people we support — are treated as safeguarding matters and escalated immediately in line with our Safeguarding Policy.

Due diligence & training

All staff receive training on safeguarding, which includes recognising the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking. Our Registered Manager reviews recruitment and supplier practices regularly to ensure they remain consistent with this statement.
